Privacy policy.

The short version

StencilStack processes photographs on your iPhone. It does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics or behavioural tracking. MitchellMaker does not receive your photographs, stencil artwork or exported files through the app.

Photographs and camera access

You can take a photograph using your iPhone camera or choose an image with Apple’s Photos picker. Camera access is requested only when you choose to take a photograph.

Selected images are processed locally on your device using Apple technologies. StencilStack does not upload them to MitchellMaker or to an external image-processing service.

Saving and sharing

If you choose Image output, StencilStack requests permission to add the generated image to your Photos library. It does not need permission to browse your entire library for this action.

If you choose Stencil output, the app creates a PDF temporarily on your device and presents Apple’s share sheet. You decide where that file is sent or saved. Any service you select in the share sheet is governed by that service’s own privacy policy.

Data StencilStack does not collect

• No account or profile information
• No advertising identifiers
• No analytics or behavioural tracking
• No location, contacts or address-book data
• No photographs, stencil artwork or exported files sent to MitchellMaker

Support email

If you contact support, MitchellMaker receives the information you choose to include in your email, such as your email address, message and any attachments. This information is used only to respond to your enquiry and provide support.

Please do not send photographs or other personal information unless it is necessary for your support request.

Children’s privacy

StencilStack does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app has no account, analytics, advertising or tracking system, it does not build user profiles of any kind.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if StencilStack’s features or legal requirements change. The effective date below will be revised whenever a material update is published.
